Accessibility statement

GUYRO DIGITAL wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion enabled.

Standard we work to

This site is built to Israeli Standard 5568 (תקן ישראלי 5568), which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility), 5773-2013, under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998. Where WCAG 2.1 level AA sets a higher bar, we have generally followed it.

We consider the site to be substantially conformant with that standard. "Substantially" rather than "fully" because we have not yet completed an independent audit; the known gaps are listed below.

What has been implemented

  • Semantic structure. Landmarks for navigation, main content and footer, one h1 per page, and headings in order. Each page section is labelled by its own heading.
  • Keyboard access. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, in a logical order. A visible focus ring is drawn on every focusable element, and its colour changes with the background so it stays visible on both the dark and the light sections.
  • Skip link. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing in the tab order on every page.
  • Colour contrast. Body and heading text meets the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text. The brand cyan is used for text only on dark backgrounds; a darker variant is substituted automatically on light sections, where the brighter colour would fail.
  • Reduced motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off: the background grain and the scrolling ticker stop, transitions are collapsed, and content that would otherwise fade in on scroll is shown immediately.
  • Forms. Every field has a visible, permanently associated label. The multiple-choice buttons expose their pressed state. Errors are marked on the field rather than by colour alone.
  • Text and zoom. Text is set in relative units and reflows without loss of content up to 200 percent zoom and down to a 320 pixel viewport. Nothing depends on horizontal scrolling.
  • Images and decoration. Meaningful images have text alternatives. Purely decorative layers, including the diagonal motif and the background grain, are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Without JavaScript. All content is present and readable with JavaScript turned off.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following and are working on them:

  • The service rows on the homepage show a pointer cursor and an arrow on hover but are not themselves links or buttons. This can suggest an interaction that is not there.
  • The site has not yet been tested end to end with JAWS or NVDA, nor formally audited by an external accessibility consultant.
  • A Hebrew, right-to-left version of the site is in preparation and is not published yet.

Accessibility arrangements beyond the website

GUYRO DIGITAL is a small consultancy that works remotely and does not operate premises open to the public. If you need our written deliverables in an alternative format, or need a meeting run in a particular way, tell us and we will arrange it.

Reporting a problem

If you run into an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us what happened, the page you were on and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We will acknowledge your message within two business days and aim to fix confirmed problems within 30 days.
